Dependable Gage design department provides complete design services for all types of dimensional gaging. Typically we will receive a part print and an RFQ from a customer. The design team discusses the part print with the customer and then develops concepts for all the required gaging to meet the part print requirements. Concepts are presented to the customer through very detailed quotations and sometimes accompanied by actual concept sketches or models. Once the concept has been refined and approved by the customer, and an order is received, full gage assemblies are drawn using a CAD program. The assembly drawings are sent to the customer for approval, and then all the detail prints are completed. At that point the design moves onto the plant floor for manufacturing. Once the gages are completed the customer is supplied with electronic versions of all the gage designs.
